PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy at Time Warp Scan
Overview
This policy explains how Time Warp Scan handles information in the Android app and on this website. No account is required. Camera frames and scan effects are processed on your device. Advertising, analytics and installation attribution involve separate data transfers to Google, DataEye and AppsFlyer, as described below.
For privacy questions or requests, contact wannalotta420@gmail.com.
Information and purposes
| Information | Purpose and processing | Your choices |
|---|---|---|
| Camera frames, scan photos and videos | Processed locally to create effects. The app does not upload this content to us or send it as advertising data. Video drafts can be stored temporarily before you save a result. | Camera permission is needed to scan. You choose when to save or share. |
| Selected audio file, its name and access reference | Used locally to add music. The app remembers your selection and permission to access the selected file. | Select or change music with Android's file picker. |
| Preferences and reward status | Onboarding, appearance, filter and music choices, reward progress and unlock expiry times are stored locally to remember your settings and earned access. | Clear app storage in Android Settings to remove local app data. |
| Advertising identifiers and network information | Google Mobile Ads receives device/app identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID when available, and your IP address for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. An IP address can indicate approximate location. | Use Android advertising controls and the privacy choices described below. |
| Ad interactions and diagnostics | Google receives ad requests, impressions, interactions and SDK performance information to deliver, measure and maintain advertising. | Available consent choices affect ad processing; declining personalization does not eliminate all ad-related processing. |
| App activity and diagnostics | DataEye receives installation, session, crash, feature-use and save/share/delete event information for product analytics and troubleshooting. Firebase Analytics measures app usage with app-instance and device information. Network requests also expose IP addresses to receiving services. | These services operate when the app starts and relevant events occur. Contact us about privacy requests; advertising choices do not provide a general analytics opt-out. |
| Installation and campaign attribution | AppsFlyer processes device/app identifiers, installation and launch information, network data and install-referrer information to measure how users find the app. Campaign and acquisition-source fields are also passed to DataEye for analytics. | Android advertising controls limit availability of the Advertising ID; they do not remove all installation measurement. |
| Ad revenue and measurement | DataEye, Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer receive ad format, placement, network, impression-revenue and currency information to measure advertising performance. This is advertising revenue, not your payment-card information. | Optional rewarded ads are initiated by you. Provider retention and privacy-request controls are described below. |
| Support correspondence | Your email address, message and attachments reach us and the email services involved when you contact support, so we can respond. | Choose what to include and contact us to request deletion. |
Advertising and privacy choices
The app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) to display advertising, including optional rewarded ads. Google User Messaging Platform manages consent information and displays a consent form when required by its regional and account configuration. The app checks whether ads can be requested before loading them.
When available, open Privacy choices in the app menu to revisit your advertising choices. You can also manage or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings; the exact controls vary by device. Ads can be personalized, non-personalized or limited according to applicable choices and Google's eligibility rules. Non-personalized ads can still use data for delivery, reporting and fraud prevention.
A temporary ad-free reward suppresses covered advertising during its active period. It does not erase information already received by an advertising provider.
Permissions
- Camera: previews and creates scan effects after you grant permission.
- Storage on Android 9 and earlier: saves results to shared storage. Newer Android versions use the system media store without broad storage access.
- System file picker: grants access to the audio file you select. The app does not request microphone permission to record sound.
- Internet and network state: support advertising and consent services.
- Advertising ID: supports advertising and measurement when the identifier is available.
Manage camera and storage permissions in Android Settings. The app does not request precise location permission.
Recipients and third-party services
Google receives advertising and consent-related information through AdMob and User Messaging Platform. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google advertising information for its processing practices and controls.
- DataEye: product activity, session and crash analytics, attribution fields and advertising revenue measurement. Events are sent to our configured DataEye analytics service during app use. See the DataEye policy center.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: app usage and advertising revenue measurement, using app-instance/device information and event data. See Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy linked above.
- AppsFlyer: installation and campaign attribution, launch measurement, fraud prevention and advertising revenue reporting. See the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
Analytics and attribution services initialize at app startup. The advertising consent form governs advertising choices; it is not a switch that stops all analytics or attribution. Our event reporting sends activity metadata rather than your camera frames, photo/video contents or selected audio contents.
Android system components provide camera access, media storage, file selection and sharing. When you share a result, the selected destination receives that media under its own privacy practices. Your device's gallery or backup service can also sync media according to your settings.
Storage, retention, backup and deletion
Local preferences and reward records remain until replaced or removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Temporary video files are stored in the app cache; creation and result-cleanup paths remove drafts, and Android can reclaim cache storage. Clearing app storage removes remaining app-local files.
Android backup is enabled. Eligible app data can be backed up or restored by Android according to your device and backup settings. Uninstalling does not itself delete existing backups; manage these through your device or backup provider.
Saved or shared results are written to the device media library. Delete saved results using the app's delete action where available, or your gallery/file manager. Uninstalling the app does not remove saved media, copies shared to other services, or cloud copies. Delete those separately.
Advertising, analytics, attribution and consent records are retained under the relevant provider practices and service settings, linked above. Clearing this app's storage does not delete records already sent to Google, DataEye or AppsFlyer. Contact us about deletion of records associated with our services; requests depend on our ability to locate the records and the provider's supported deletion process. We retain support messages only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable security or legal obligations.
Your requests and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. Send requests to wannalotta420@gmail.com.
Because the app has no accounts, we cannot retrieve your on-device media or automatically connect an email request to a particular advertising identifier. We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate relevant records and verify your request. We will explain any limitations and direct you to provider controls where appropriate.
Security and international processing
Camera effects are processed locally. Google documents TLS encryption for Mobile Ads data in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and consider the privacy practices of destinations you share with.
Advertising, analytics, attribution and support providers can process information in countries outside your country of residence. Their privacy notices describe processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app or support, contact us so we can investigate and address deletion where appropriate.

This privacy page contains no analytics scripts, advertising scripts, forms or third-party embeds, and does not itself set cookies.
